        First Christian                                              Catholic Cathedral

These churches are beautiful structures.  Constructed in America's Gilded Age on 'Millionaires Row' of cities, they were constructed of the finest materials, fine white limestone, awesome stained glass windows, and furnishings of the highest quality supported by the wealthiest communities in the state.

Several aspects of these projects change as the scale of the work is in flux.  Local engineering and contracting expertise will be required to determine the practical economics of relocating these churches.  We remain sure that the economics will be a desirable alternative to new construction.  Prices quoted below are intended to indicate the scale of the work.

Because of uncertainties about the scale of the work, we would work on a cost-plus 10% basis, rather than a fixed price agreement where our risk is offset by high profit.  The actual cost could be much less.

The Christian church looks very doable, but the Catholic Cathedral is intimidating.

As collaborators in moving these buildings, we recognize that established construction and engineering firms employed by the buyer may have far more professional expertise in construction disassembly methodologies than we do.  In most instances, we believe that we can pull together the local expertise to do the work, but they may desire to supervise the entire process.  They and local firms that they trust may take over day to day engineering operations of the actual disassembly of the building.  ResErections on-site role may be limited to computer systems management and employees capturing data, video, photography, RFID tagging, packaging, and shipping.  Roles are negotiable.   We are experts in intermodal truckload shipping  ... domestic and international.

Here is an overhead view of the building.

This church would be appropriate to move.  It is surrounded by the distribution core of a multi-state truck, rail, and interstate system in a major midwestern city.  Residential communities are blocked from easy access and there are no people living close enough to make the church a community center.  Many efforts have failed to successfully use the structure for schools, day care centers, drug treatment programs, and other social services.   The church is now boarded up as property owners evaluate alternatives.  The site would be much more valuable serving the distribution center needs of the city and state.

The church is a beautiful structure.  Constructed in America's Gilded Age on 'Millionaires Row' of this city, the church was constructed of the finest materials, fine white limestone, awesome stained glass windows, and furnishings of the highest quality supported by large endowments of the wealthiest community in the state.
